Your counsellor – Peter Davidson.

Peter is passionate about assisting people from all walks of life improve their mental wellbeing. He works with clients to help them understand what changes they need to make in order to live the lives they want and, more importantly, what they can do to make those changes stick. He has a focus on mental health issues – including mood disorders, anxiety, and depression – and relationship counselling, as well as problem gambling, addictions, and sexual issues. Models of therapy Peter uses include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Peter has a Masters of Counselling along with a Graduate Diploma of Biblical Studies. He has also completed a number of training modules through the world-respected Gottman Institute:

— Level 3 Training in Relationship and Marriage counselling
— Treating Affairs and Trauma training
— Couples and Addiction Recovery
